getz

• Getz is very usefull in a production environment where an entry is required for further processing from the command line.

  • UNIX examples:
    • Need a restriction map of ‘hscfos’:
      • getz -e ‘[embl-id:hscfos]’ | tacg -s
    • Need a fasta formatted version of hscfos:
      • getz -view FastaSeqs ‘[embl-id:hscfos]’
